On June 12, Zhang Ping, Chairman of the Board of Beijing Energy International, visited Shanghai and held discussions with Yang Yougui, Senior Vice President and President of Global Marketing Service System for Huawei Digital Power, and Frank Phuan, Asia-Pacific President of EDPR (EDP Renewables), regarding deepening cooperation in the field of new energy.

During the meeting, all parties introduced their respective business areas, industrial layouts, and future plans. They recognized that the three companies have achieved significant results in their long-term development processes, possessing rich experience and unique strengths in their respective fields. They agreed that their concepts in the development and construction of new energy are highly compatible and complementary. There is also extensive space for cooperation in digital technology and international business. In the future, they will continue to deepen mutual trust, strengthen exchanges, and further enhance diversified cooperation in the energy industry. They aim to forge strong alliances for common development.

The meeting was attended by Huawei Digital Power’s Chief Financial Officer Li Zhuangshi, Microgrid Solutions General Manager Zhu Chengjun, and relevant personnel from the Beijing and Singapore offices. From EDPR, attendees included Wong Ee Hong, Country Director of EDPR China, and Ming Zhi Cai, Business Development Director APAC of EDPR APC.
