On June 27, Beijing Energy International’s 2.67MW distributed photovoltaic project at Xihongmen Zhigu Industrial Park in Daxing District, Beijing, successfully connected to the grid and started generating electricity.
Located on the roof of the Hongkun Zhigu Industrial Park, the project has a total installed capacity of 2.67MW and operates under the “self-consumption with excess electricity uploading to the grid” mode. It is expected to annually produce approximately 2.855 million kWh of green electricity after commissioning, equivalent to saving 861.038 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 2,504.577 tons. The project not only delivers social, economic, and environmental benefits but also promotes the capital city’s energy security and green development.
