On June 28, Beijing Energy International’s 100MW/200MWh shared energy storage project at Jinsuo Industrial Park in Xundian County, Kunming, Yunnan, was smoothly registered. This marks the company’s first shared energy storage project registered in Yunnan, signifying an important step in the company’s strategic layout of the energy storage industry in Southwest China.

Project Overview

This project actively responds to Xundian County’s call to accelerate the establishment of a green, low-carbon, and circular economy. By leveraging local resources and industrial advantages, the project is being developed in Hekou Town, Xundian County, Kunming City, Yunnan Province, with a total installed capacity of 100MW/200MWh. Upon completion, the project is expected to have an annual discharge capacity of approximately 51.87 million kWh. This will further promote the growth of local green industries and provide strong support for Kunming City’s goal to become a national role model for ecological civilization construction.
