On August 16, Wu Chaoke, Vice President of Beijing Energy International, led a delegation to Duolun County in Xilingol League, Inner Mongolia, where they met with Wang Jun, Deputy Secretary of the County Party Committee and County Chief. The two parties engaged in discussions regarding in-depth cooperation in the field of green energy.
During the meeting, both sides agreed that Duolun County has significant geographical advantages, convenient transportation and logistics, abundant water resources, and good conditions in terms of land and infrastructure for chemical construction in the development zone. These factors make the area suitable for developing green electricity-based hydrogen and ammonia production projects. Moving forward, both parties will accelerate the project development process, promptly address any bottlenecks, overcome challenges, and strive to make substantial progress in the project. This will contribute to the low-carbon transformation of coal power in Xilingol and help the county accelerate the construction of a new, clean, low-carbon, safe, and efficient energy system.
Also present at the meeting were Tian Liang, Deputy County Chief of Duolun County; Liu Jinyan, Director of the Development and Reform Commission; Bai Yunfeng, Director of the Industry and Information Technology Bureau; Ding Baoshun, Deputy Director of the Economic Development Zone Management Committee; Wang Jianxing, Director of the Natural Resources Bureau; Li Fuhai, Director of the Water Resources Bureau; as well as relevant personnel including Baltsa, Deputy General Manager of Beijing Energy International’s Northern Branch, and Zhang Chunsheng, Deputy General Manager of Jingqi (Zhangjiakou) New Energy Co., Ltd.
