On August 16, the eighth China-Australia High-Level Dialogue was held in Adelaide, South Australia, jointly organized by the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs and the National Foundation for Australia-China Relations. The event was attended by Chinese Ambassador to Australia, Xiao Qian, and Australian Ambassador to China, Scott Dewar, with Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong giving a speech at the luncheon. Beijing Energy International was invited to participate in the event.
Jia Geng, Vice President of the company, represented the company at the event. During the meeting, Jia Geng engaged in dialogue and discussions with representatives from both China and Australia, sharing information about the company’s initiatives in promoting green economic development and energy transformation in Australia, as well as future investment prospects. Jia Geng stated that the company will continue to uphold the principles of openness, cooperation, and mutual benefit in future development, establish closer partnerships with Australian counterparts, increase investment in green energy and environmental technology, explore new business models and cooperation opportunities, leverage its own advantages, actively fulfill corporate social responsibility, and contribute to the economic and trade cooperation and green development between China and Australia.
