BJ ENERGY INTL Is Invited to Attend the 5th Qingdao Multinationals Summit and Weihai Industrial Cooperation Dialogue

On August 27, Beijing Energy International was invited to participate in the 5th Qingdao Multinationals Summit (QMS) and Weihai Industrial Cooperation Dialogue.




At the meeting, Zhang Ping, Chairman of the Board of Beijing Energy International, spoke as a representative of the entrepreneurs. Zhang began by expressing gratitude to the Weihai Municipal Party Committee, the municipal government, and partners for their support and attention. He noted that the efforts made by the Weihai Municipal Party Committee and government in attracting investment, building industrial parks, and facilitating industrial development have strengthened the company’s confidence and determination to invest in Weihai and pursue common development. Currently, the company has completed the Rongcheng 200 MW/400 MWh Shared Energy Storage Power Station Project, the Nanhai Niulai 23.1 MW Distributed Photovoltaic Power Generation Project in Weihai, and the 80 MW Agrophotovoltaic Power Generation Project in Huancui District of Weihai, is being rapidly implemented. Moving forward, based on existing cooperation, the company will continue to invest in the construction of wind power, photovoltaic, and energy storage projects in the city. Additionally, the company will collaborate with the Rongcheng Municipal Government to develop the “Green Power Retrofit of Nearshore Ship and Digital Smart Energy Source Wharf Project.” By leveraging these demonstration projects, the company aims to enhance the development of the new energy and shipbuilding industry chains, inject new vitality into Weihai’s marine energy economy, and support Shandong’s efforts to become a leading area for green, low-carbon, high-quality development.




During the meeting, the company participated in the signing of 25 key projects. According to the agreements, it will leverage its strengths to invest in new energy and integrated energy projects in Weihai, advancing regional economic development and empowering Shandong’s green, low-carbon energy transition.

The 5th QMS and Weihai Industrial Cooperation Dialogue, hosted by the Weihai Municipal Government, was themed “Choose Weihai · Win-Win Future.” The dialogue aims to connect resources from Chinese and foreign multinational corporations and build a platform for cooperation and exchange, playing a vital role in accelerating high-quality economic development. Attendees included Kong Fanping, Deputy Secretary of the Weihai Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Weihai; Zhang Shandong, Vice Mayor of Weihai; Jia Geng, Vice President of Beijing Energy International; Li Jian, Investment Director and General Manager of the Strategic Investment Department; and Liu Yingjie, General Manager of the North China Branch.
