On September 25, Beijing Energy International was invited to attend the 2024 Sichuan Investment Promotion Conference for Leading Domestic and International Companies - Dazhou’s “Four Major” Resource New-Quality Productive Force Development Investment Promotion Conference and Project Signing Ceremony.

At the conference, Jin Xin, Vice President of Beijing Energy International, delivered a speech as a representative of the attending companies. Jin expressed gratitude to the Dazhou Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government for their sincere invitation, stating that this event marks a new chapter in the strategic cooperation between Beijing Energy International and Dazhou. Dazhou boasts abundant wind, solar and gas resources, with vast potential for new energy development, making it a key region in the company’s industrial layout. The company plans to invest in the construction of the Wanyuan Wind Power Project, which has a total installed capacity of 164.3 MW. This will be the first wind power project in Dazhou and is listed as one of Dazhou’s key support projects. The company is committed to leveraging its strengths to contribute to the city’s energy development and industrial upgrading while assisting it in building its strategic layout of “One District, One Hub, One Center.”

The event, hosted by the Sichuan Provincial Government, was held under the theme “Writing a New Chapter in New-Quality Productive Force and Creating a New Future for High-Quality Development.” The event aims to establish a strategic hub for opening up to the western region and create a new base for international competition while deepening the exchange and cooperation between Sichuan and domestic and international enterprises to achieve shared opportunities and mutual benefit. Attendees included Luo Qiang, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Sichuan Provincial People’s Congress; Shao Gejun, Secretary of the Dazhou Municipal Party Committee; Liang Lei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Mayor of Dazhou; and leaders from relevant provincial and municipal departments. Zhang Bo, General Manager of Zangneng Company under Beijing Energy International, along with other relevant personnel, also participated in the event.
