BJ ENERGY INTL’s 110MW PV Project in Panjianghuashan, Qujing, Yunnan, Connected to the Grid at Full Capacity
Time:2025-01-01

On January 1, 2025, Beijing Energy International’s 110MW photovoltaic project in Panjianghuashan, Qujing, Yunnan, successfully connected to the grid at full capacity. This marks another significant achievement for the company in the self-development and construction of renewable energy projects in Yunnan.

The project is located in Zhanyi District, Qujing City, Yunnan, with an installed capacity of 110MW. It is accompanied by the construction of a 110kV booster station and a 15-kilometer 110kV outgoing line. During the construction period, the project overcame various challenges, such as difficulties in land leasing, outgoing line crossings over the Hukun Railway, and passing through industrial parks. The involved parties organized construction in an orderly manner, strictly adhering to established goals, efficiently allocating resources, and successfully completing the full-capacity grid connection task.

Once operational, the project is expected to generate approximately 194 million kilowatt-hours of green electricity annually, which is equivalent to saving about 58,100 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 159,300 tons. The project will bring significant social, environmental, and economic benefits, further contributing to the energy structure transformation and high-quality economic development of Yunnan.
