On February 18, Zhang Ping, Chairman of the Board of Beijing Energy International, met in Beijing with Kim Tae-hyung, Group Head of Low Carbon Energy Division of POSCO International, and his delegation for discussions on cooperation in hydrogen-based green fuel projects. 

During the meeting, both parties introduced their respective business areas and industrial layouts and engaged in in-depth discussions on collaboration in hydrogen-based green fuel manufacturing. They acknowledged their respective strengths in their fields and the broad scope for cooperation. Both sides expressed their hope to use this meeting as an opportunity to establish a long-term communication mechanism, leverage their resource advantages, and deepen collaboration. They aim to jointly promote cooperation in the development of green fuel projects domestically and internationally, as well as in international trade, to achieve complementary advantages, coordinated growth, and contribute further to the global transition towards green and low-carbon energy. 

The meeting was attended by Chung Young-jong, Chief Team Leader of the Green Energy Development Division at POSCO International, Deputy Chief Kim Hyun-bin, Chung Soon-bo, Head of Marketing for POSCO International’s China Marketing Unit and Corporate Representative of its Beijing office, Jin Jing-Ai, General Manager of the Raw Materials Department, and Deputy General Managers Jeong Sung-hoon and Li Ji-shou. Representatives from Beijing Energy International included Vice President Wu Chaoke and Investment Director Li Jian, among others.
