On February 18, Zhang Ping, Chairman of the Board of Beijing Energy International, was invited by the China-Australia Chamber of Commerce (AustCham China) to jointly visit Zhang Jun, Secretary-General of the Boao Forum for Asia, for discussions on overseas business cooperation. 

Following this, Vaughn Barber, AustCham China Chair, and his delegation visited the company. Both sides introduced their respective business areas and future plans, engaging in in-depth discussions on resource complementarity and cooperative development in overseas markets. 

Both parties expressed their commitment to establishing a long-term communication mechanism, with a focus on the new energy sector. They aim to strengthen domestic and international business collaboration, expand the depth and scope of cooperation, leverage their respective advantages, and achieve mutual benefits through strong partnerships.

The meeting was attended by He Yizhou, Board Director, Zhang Tiansu, Chief Executive Officer, and Hou Yaochen, Chief Operating Officer at AustCham China; as well as Li Jian, Investment Director of Beijing Energy International, and Yang Zhu, Deputy General Manager of the Strategic Investment Department, among others.
