BJ ENERGY INTL Invited to Attend the New Year Reception for the 2025 Changzhou-Shanghai Trade, Investment, and Innovation Cooperation Week

On February 20, Beijing Energy International was invited to participate in the New Year Reception for the 2025 Changzhou-Shanghai Trade, Investment, and Innovation Cooperation Week, hosted by the Changzhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government. Zhang Ping, Chairman of the Board of the company, attended the event in Shanghai on behalf of the company and delivered a speech. 





The event was attended by Zhou Wei, Deputy Secretary of the Changzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor; Chen Xiang, Standing Committee Member of the Municipal Party Committee, Head of the Organization Department, and Principal (concurrent) of the Changzhou Municipal Party School and Administrative Institute; Vice Mayors Xia Sijun and Pan Dongling; and Zhou Chengtao, Secretary-General of the Municipal Government. 




Prior to the event, Zhang Ping participated in a meeting organized by Mayor Zhou Wei, where he provided a comprehensive overview of the company’s development plans in Changzhou. Zhou Wei emphasized that Changzhou remains committed to industrial development and continuously optimizes its business environment. He expressed hope that enterprises will deepen cooperation with Changzhou and attract more upstream and downstream industry players to the city. During the discussions, both parties reached a consensus on jointly promoting Changzhou’s high-quality development.

During the event, Zhang Ping delivered a keynote speech, highlighting the company’s strong commitment to cooperation with Changzhou. He stated that the company will leverage its strengths and align with Changzhou’s resource endowments and industrial planning to actively advance the development of wind power, photovoltaics, and energy storage projects. These efforts aim to support Changzhou in achieving its dual-carbon goals at an early stage.

Jia Geng, Vice President of Beijing Energy International, and Du Wenyuan, General Manager of the East China Branch, also attended the event.
