On July 2, 2021, Zhu Jun, President of Beijing Energy International Holdings Co., Ltd. went to Laiyang, Yantai, to visit Li Dong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Mayor of Laiyang City, Yantai. The two sides held talks on comprehensive and in-depth strategic cooperation and signed the Laiyang Agricultural-Photovoltaic Complementary Power Generation Project Cooperation Agreement. The meeting was also attended by Chen Yu, Deputy Mayor of Laiyang City, Liu Liping, Director of Laiyang Investment Promotion Center, Jia Geng, Vice President of Beijing Energy International, and Fan Liyun, General Manager of the North China Regional Company of Beijing Energy International.

At the meeting, President Zhu Jun introduced the development and operation and the main business of Beijing Energy International. He said that Beijing Energy International, as a pilot company for the mixed ownership reform of state-owned enterprises of Beijing Energy, enjoys top expertise and flexible mechanisms. It is willing to provide services for Laiyang City and actively participate in the investment in local transition towards clean and low-carbon energy, so as to contribute to Laiyang’s efforts of speeding up the realization of goal of emission peak and carbon neutrality.

Li Dong extended a warm welcome to Zhu Jun. He said that Laiyang City enjoys rich resources and promising development in the new energy industry. Beijing Energy International is highly efficient and professional. He welcomes companies like Beijing Energy International to invest in Laiyang and seek win-win development, helping promote the transition of Laiyang’s energy structure towards clean and low-carbon development.

    Later the two sides held a ceremony for the signing of the  Laiyang Agricultural-Photovoltaic Complementary Power Generation Project Cooperation Agreement.
