At 10 a.m. on July 6, 2021, Beijing Energy International Jiaxing Xiuzhou LONGi 17MWp BIPV Photovoltaic Power Generation Project kicked off at the LONGi Factory in Xiuzhou District of Jiaxing. The commencement ceremony was attended by Wu Xianrong, Vice Director of the Administrative Committee of Xiuzhou National High-tech Zone, Jiaxing, Shen Fuxin, Secretary-General of Zhejiang Solar Photovoltaic Industry Association, Tang Xuhui, Chairman of Xi'an LONGi New Energy Co., Ltd., Gu Jiawei, General Manager of Jiaxing Xiuhu Development Investment Group Co., Ltd., Liu Aijun, General Manager of Jiaxing LONGi Lerri Solar Technology Co., Ltd., Du Wenyuan, General Manager of East China Regional Company of Beijing Energy International and other relevant personnel.

Jiaxing Xiuzhou LONGi 17MWp BIPV project is Beijing Energy International’s first photovoltaic building integrated power generation project and the largest single photovoltaic building project in Zhejiang Province. The smooth commencement of Jiaxing BIPV project marks a substantial step forward in the expansion of Beijing Energy International's smart energy sector. The project will perfectly combine high-efficiency power generation and reliable building materials, promote the innovative application and development of the photovoltaic industry, and facilitate the achievement of peaking carbon dioxide emissions by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2060.
