BJ ENERGY INTL Held Talks with Pearl River Water Resources and Hydropower Development Corporation
On August 4, 2022, Liu Dongsheng, vice president of Beijing Energy International met with Li Zhiwen, deputy general manager of Pearl River Water Resources and Hydropower Development Corporation in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and visited the floating photovoltaic solar energy project in Datengxia submerged area of Wuxuan County, Laibin City, Guangxi. The two sides held in-depth exchange on cooperation in the new energy and the construction mode of cooperative projects between the two sides. Tan Zhixiong, vice president of Pearl River Hydraulic Research Institute; Xue Manyu, deputy general manager of the South China Branch of Beijing Energy International, and other personnel attended the meeting.
Both parties agreed that Beijing Energy International and Pearl River Water Resources and Hydropower Development Corporation should assume the responsibility of accelerating the green and low-carbon transformation of energy industry. The new energy development concepts of both parties are highly aligned, with smooth communication and efficient cooperation in the early stage. They will continue to optimize the communication mechanism, fully leverage their respective advantages, strategically introduce advanced technology in researching and exploring floating PV project in submerged areas, prioritizing local people’s livelihood as the core and making full use of land as the foundation, and build the Datengxia project into a model one featuring flood discharge and water and light integration, so as to promote the local economic development and contribute to the early attainment of dual carbon goals in Guangxi.
