On December 6, 2022, Beijing Energy International witnessed another achievement in its project development. On the list of the 2022 competitive selection library of wind and photovoltaic power generation projects of Jiangxi Energy Bureau, Beijing Energy International’s 100MW complementary project integrating fish farming and photovoltaic power generation in Shiyong Village, Yifeng County, Yichun City, Jiangxi Province, and the 50MW agrophotovoltaic project in Shuibian, Xiajiang County, Ji’an City, Jiangxi Province were approved for the construction. This is yet another breakthrough made by the company in developing new energy in the province after the successful completion of the large-scale distributed photovoltaic project of Jiangling Motors, marking its substantial progress in independently developing centralized photovoltaic projects in the province.

After launching the above-mentioned two projects, it is estimated that 170 million kWh of clean and green electricity can be generated every year, equivalent to saving about 51,000 tons of standard coal and cutting about 170,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions, which will improve the local energy structure, regional energy transformation and economic development, helping the province achieve its dual carbon goals sooner.

Next, the company will start the project construction as soon as possible according to the requirements of the local government to ensure the early and high-quality completion of the projects.
