At 15: 28 on December 14, 2022, Beijing Energy International’s Niulai (Weihai) 23MW distributed photovoltaic project was connected to power grid with full capacity. This project is the first distributed grid-connected power project with full capacity in Weihai solely invested by Beijing Energy International.

The project is located in Nanhai New District Industrial Park, Weihai City, Shandong Province, with a total workshop area of about 240,000 cubic meters and an installed capacity of 23.07MW. After the project is put into operation, it is estimated that the average annual production of green electricity will be about 28 million kWh, the standard coal will be saved by about 80,600 tons, and the carbon dioxide emissions will be reduced by about 24,000 tons. With remarkable social, environmental and economic benefits, it will further boost Weihai’s economic development as well as the transformation and upgrading of local energy structure.
