Recently, the online expert review meeting of the Feasibility Study Reports of the 1.5MW carbon-neutral industrial project of integrating technology-based agriculture and smart energy in Daxingzhuang Town, Pinggu District and the 7MW low-carbon and digital mushroom project with high-efficiency facility in Baoshan Town, Huairou District of Beijing were successfully held. Experts from China Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Academy of Agricultural Planning and Engineering(AAPE) of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs(MARA), Beijing Yinong Zhiyuan Technology Development Co., Ltd., etc. Vice President Jia Geng and Vice President Wang Liuhu of Beijing Energy International, Zhao Li, Investment Director, Zhou Guo, Director of Production Safety, Executive Director Wang Qi and General Manager Li Xijun of Beijing Jingneng International Integrated Smart Energy Company and other relevant personnel attended the meeting.

All attendees listened to the presentation of the feasibility study design results of the two projects. It was agreed that the “planting technology utilizing all spaces” adopted by the 1.5MW carbon-neutral industrial project of integrating technology-based agriculture and smart energy in Daxingzhuang Town, Pinggu District and the “plant factory” mode of cultivating mushroom adopted by the 7MW low-carbon and digital mushroom project with high-efficiency facility in Baoshan Town, Huairou District have reached the domestically advanced level. And both projects were recognized as in line with the spirit of vigorously developing modern agriculture in the Outline of the Strategic Plan for Expanding Domestic Demand (2022-2035) issued by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council, the highly-efficient agricultural facilities are supported with the green integrated energy scheme to create a green demonstration park, which echoes the national dual carbon strategy and brings demonstrative effect to the green and sustainable development of agricultural production.

During the meeting, the evaluation expert group considered that the agricultural scheme and energy supply scheme of the projects were feasible and recommendations were put forward on the construction and operation of the projects. The meeting finally passed and adopted such recommendations.
