On June 12, 2023, Liu Guoxi, party secretary and chairman of the Trade Union of Beijing Energy International, met with Daniel Vilela, deputy governor of the State of Goiás, Brazil, in Beijing. The two sides exchanged on in-depth cooperation in new energy.

At the meeting, Daniel Vilela introduced the basic situation and new energy development planning of Goiás, he said that the state is located in the middle of Brazil, has a good economic foundation and business environment, high-quality wind and solar resources, and has unlimited potential for developing new energy industry. He welcomed Beijing Energy International to invest in the state to boost the sustainable development of the energy industry and promote regional economic construction and technological innovation.

Liu Guoxi welcomed Daniel Vilela and his delegation and introduced the business development and future planning of the company. He said that Goiás has attracted many high-quality international and domestic investors and hoped to take this opportunity to establish a long-term communication mechanism, strengthen the communication between the two sides, and achieve substantive cooperation at an early date with the goal of industrial introduction and project landing.
