On August 3, 2023, vice president Jia Geng and vice president Jin Xin of Beijing Energy International met Cheng Dejun, deputy mayor of Baoshan Municipal Government in Beijing. The two sides exchanged on in-depth cooperation in clean energy. Xiong Zhengjie, deputy secretary-general of Baoshan Municipal Government, Jiang Xuemei, director of Municipal Investment Promotion Bureau and other relevant personnel attended the meeting.

During the meeting, Jia Geng welcomed Cheng Dejun and his delegation, introduced the industrial layout and future planning of Beijing Energy International, and thanked Baoshan Government for its long-term support. He said that Baoshan is an important strategic location of the company, and it will give full play to its own advantages, accelerate the development and utilization of photovoltaic resources, actively promote the landing of the first distributed photovoltaic project in the city, and boost the development of new energy industry in various forms such as the complementation of hydropower and photovoltaic power, and contribute to local economic development.

Cheng Dejun introduced the industrial status and development advantages of Baoshan and expressed his recognition and appreciation for the development achievements of Beijing Energy International. He said that Baoshan is rich in clean energy resources, and the city attaches great importance to the development and utilization of clean energy, which is convergent with the strategic development positioning of Beijing Energy International and has broad cooperation space in clean energy.
