On August 2, 2023, Zhang Ping, chairman of the Board of Directors of Beijing Energy International visited Singapore and met Wong Kim Yin, Group President & CEO of Sembcorp Industries, and the two sides exchanged on continuously deepening strategic cooperation.

At the meeting, the two sides introduced their respective business and future development plans and agreed that they share the same development concept and goal. Previously, their joint venture Beijing Energy Sembcorp (Hainan) International Renewables was established, and the three photovoltaic power stations under this company are running well. Building on this, the two sides will continue to deepen the development and construction of domestic and foreign projects in new energy, deepen strategic development cooperation and work together to write a new chapter of development.
