On November 16, 2023, Beijing Energy International successfully issued the phase-III of interbank panda perpetual bonds of 1 billion yuan with a term of 2+N years and a coupon rate of 3.65%, and a subscription ratio of 1.9 times. The lead underwriter of the issuance is China Merchants Securities, and the joint lead underwriters are China Merchants Bank, Bank of Beijing, Huaxia Bank, Shenwan Hongyuan Securities, CICC and China Securities.

Amid the recent continuous fluctuations of interest rates in bond market, the valuation of the previous two phases of panda perpetual bonds issued by the company in September and October remain stable in the domestic bond market. The successful market-oriented issuance of panda perpetual bonds has greatly improved the company’s visibility and recognition in the domestic bond market, broadened financing channels, enriched financial instruments, and helped the company optimize its financing structure and reduce its asset-liability ratio.
