On November 14, 2023, Beijing Energy International won the construction contract of Yuanda 300MW wind power project in Lanxi County, Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province. In response to the national policy, the company adheres to the development path of building energy base, and the Suihua 1.45GW wind power base project in Heilongjiang is one of its move to attain it, marking yet another breakthrough after the approval of the phase-I 200MW project. The company’s energy base projects are blossoming and bearing fruit, laying a solid foundation for the high-quality and sustainable development of the company.

The project has a total installed capacity of 300MW and a total investment of about 2.3 billion yuan. After putting into operation, it is expected to produce 900 million kWh of clean and green electricity per year, equivalent to saving about 270,000 tons of standard coal and reducing about 900,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions, which has significant social, environmental and economic benefits, and will further enable the transformation and upgrading of local energy structure, boost local economic and social benefits, and contribute to the early realization of the dual carbon goal.
