On December 5, 2023, Liu Dongsheng, vice president of Beijing Energy International, met with Li Lei, vice mayor of Tengchong Municipal Government in Tengchong City of Yunnan, and the two sides exchanged on in-depth cooperation in the field of clean energy.

At the meeting, Li Lei welcomed the visit of Liu Dongsheng and his entourage and introduced the economic and social development of Tengchong City. He said that since the two sides reached the intention of cooperation, they have focused on the cooperation goals, set up a special task force to promote relevant work in an orderly manner, and achieved preliminary results. It is hoped that the two sides will deepen mutual trust, exchanges and cooperation in developing green energy, and accelerating the implementation of cooperation results. The city will provide a full range of policy support and service guarantee, promote the cooperation between government and enterprise to deliver concrete results for common development.

Liu Dongsheng thanked Tengchong Municipal Government for its strong support to and full trust in Beijing Energy International, he said that Tengchong’s business environment is superb and highly-efficient, with outstanding locational advantages, excellent ecology and abundant resource endowments. Beijing Energy International has always regarded Tengchong as a strategic development place. The company will fully use its own advantages, continue to strengthen the development of new energy projects and the issuance of hydropower REITs of Baoshan Energy Development, in order to promote Tengchong’s clean energy industrial structure and socioeconomic development based on the established goals and time table.
