On December 6, 2023, Beijing Energy International won the “Best ESG Company Award” at the “Eighth Zhitong Finance Capital Market Annual Conference and Listed Company Awarding Ceremony”. 

The awarding selection attracted more than 1,000 Hong Kong and U.S. listed companies, covering conventional industries such as energy, finance, automotive, real estate and property, as well as emerging industries such as communications, chip manufacturing, Internet, medical and pharmaceutical, which are leading China’s economic transformation. Among them, the “Best ESG Company Award” aims to recognize the top-performing company’s management and operation conducts that incorporate ESG (environmental, social and corporate governance) into its business strategy, link the resource allocation and management assessment in development to ESG goals, actively organize relevant parties to participate in ESG activities and practices, generate good social feedback, and make unremitting efforts to actively promote sustainable development.

In July 25 this year, Beijing Energy International was assigned by Sustainable Fitch the highest ESG entity rating in domestic history to recognize its efforts in continuously deepening reform and innovation, improving ESG governance system, and promoting the in-depth integration of ESG concepts and business development 

This time, the company won another ESG award, which demonstrates that its endeavors in ESG value mining and management have been widely recognized by the industry.
