On December 27, 2023, chairman Zhang Ping and president Zhu Jun of Beijing Energy International, met with Zhu Guojin, deputy chief engineer of PowerChina, and party secretary, chairman and general manager of PowerChina Beijing Engineering Corporation in Beijing. The two sides exchanged on in-depth cooperation in the field of clean energy. 

At the meeting, the two sides introduced their respective business fields and industrial layout, and exchanged views on projects, such as large-scale wind and solar power base, pumped storage, hydropower, green hydrogen production with green electricity and overseas new energy project development. The two sides agreed that both companies are highly aligned on their development concepts and highly complementary in clean energy investment, development and construction. In the future, they will strengthen communication, make full use of their respective advantages in resources, technology and talented pool, and vigorously expand the breadth and depth of cooperation to deliver mutual benefit and coordinated development.
