On May 13, at the invitation of the ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to China, Dr. Mohamed Ghassan Mohamed Adnan Shaikho, vice president Jia Geng of Beijing Energy International, attended a luncheon hosted by the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain in China to discuss deepening cooperation in the field of clean energy. Ali Mohamed, the second secretary of the Embassy, and Maryam Aldoseri, an attaché, were among the relevant personnel attending the luncheon.
During the luncheon, Dr. Mohamed Ghassan Mohamed Adnan Shaikho expressed his endorsement of Beijing Energy International’s development philosophy “prioritizing its core business, nationwide presence, and global expansion”. He emphasized Bahrain’s pivotal position in the energy transition and underscored the government’s commitment to sustainable development. Dr. Shaikho highlighted ongoing efforts to attain zero-carbon objectives and expressed Bahrain’s eagerness to attract additional Chinese investments and foster collaboration in relevant sectors.
Jia Geng expressed gratitude for the embassy’s invitation and provided an overview of the company’s background and accomplishments in overseas clean energy development. He emphasized the company’s commitment to enhancing exchanges with Bahrain, leveraging its advanced management concepts and extensive experience in clean energy. Jia Geng outlined the company’s intention to collaborate with local resources in Bahrain to explore various cooperation avenues across multiple sectors. Together, they aim to advance global energy transformation towards green and low-carbon initiatives.
