On July 16, Zhang Ping, Chairman of the Board of Beijing Energy International, and He Kongxiang, Party Secretary and Chairman of Jingmei Group, visited Qianguo County in Songyuan City, Jilin Province, to participate in the research activities of the zero-carbon industrial park led by Li Xiaojie, Party Secretary of Songyuan City. Key leaders attending the research activities included Gao Jigang, Standing Committee Member of the Songyuan Municipal Committee and Executive Deputy Mayor of Songyuan Municipal Government; Ma Chao, Standing Committee Member and Secretary-General of the Songyuan Municipal Committee, and Secretary of the Ningjiang District Committee; Mandula, Deputy Secretary of the Qianguo County Committee, County Magistrate, and Director of the Management Committee of the Chagan Lake Tourism Economic Development Zone.

Secretary Li Xiaojie conducted an on-site survey at the energy storage research and manufacturing center project in the Qianguo Zero-carbon Park and had an in-depth exchange with Zhang Ping and his delegation. Both parties expressed that Beijing Energy International and the Songyuan Municipal Government are highly aligned in green and low-carbon development concept, providing broad cooperation opportunities. Taking the zero-carbon industrial park project as an opportunity, both sides will continuously strengthen practical and in-depth cooperation in new energy development and construction, promote industrial implementation, and jointly contribute to the local energy green transition, aiding in the early realization of the dual carbon goals.

After the research activities, Zhang Ping and He Kongxiang, along with their delegation, visited the Chagan Lake Tourism Economic Development Zone in Qianguo County to explore the development prospects of the cultural tourism and hotel industries. They conducted a detailed review of the project’s operational status and future development plans and had an in-depth exchange with Yang Wenhui, Deputy Secretary of the Songyuan Municipal Committee, Secretary of the Qianguo County Committee, and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Chagan Lake Tourism Economic Development Zone. Both parties reached a consensus on jointly promoting the high-quality development of the county.

Attendees from Qianguo County included Cao Wei, Standing Committee Member of the Qianguo County Committee and Executive Deputy County Magistrate; Hou Fengming, Director of the County Development and Reform Bureau; Hou Xuesong, Director of the County Bureau of Industry and Information Technology and Head of the Project Task Force; and Hao Chunguang, Director of the County Bureau of Commerce.
