On September 19, the 346 MW Wollar Solar Power Project in Australia, developed by Beijing Energy International, was successfully connected to the grid. This marks the company’s first photovoltaic project in Australia and its largest overseas solar project. 

The project is located in New South Wales, Australia, with a total installed capacity of 346 MW. The construction includes a 330 kV booster station, the installation of 5,400 single-axis tracking mounts, 60,480 double-glass bifacial photovoltaic modules, 3,600 string inverters, 58 medium-voltage transformer stations, and 12 circuits of 33 kV collector lines. After grid connection, the project is expected to generate approximately 546 million kWh of clean electricity annually, equivalent to saving about 164,000 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 400,000 tons. The project offers significant environmental and social benefits, further optimizing the local energy structure and contributing to the global transition towards clean and low-carbon energy.
