Recently, the Horqin Zuoyi Houqi Banner 1 million-kw desert control wind power project featured by high-quality zero-carbon clean energy equipment in Tongliao was approved by Tongliao Energy Bureau. The project is included in the second batch of large-scale wind power photovoltaic base construction projects in the desert, gobi and desert areas.

Since 2022, Beijing Energy International has optimized its development model, focusing on combining long-term planning with short-term development, combining energy base layout with point-based development, unswervingly explored market by relying on the regional resource advantages of Inner Mongolia to increase the preliminary development of energy base projects.

The project is located in the Horqin Zuoyi Houqi Banner, Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, with a total installed capacity of 1 million kilowatts and a total investment of about 6.94 billion yuan. After the completion of the project, it is estimated that the annual average power generation will be 3.356 billion kWhs, and 1.0237 million tons of standard coal will be saved annually, which will play a positive role in optimizing the city’s energy industry, improving the atmospheric quality in eastern Inner Mongolia, and providing a strong prop for the green and low-carbon development of local economy and society.

In the next stage, the company will strengthen the whole process control, further implement the external construction conditions, strengthen the implementation of the construction plan, fully promote the progress of wind farm construction and temporary land acquisition, and actively and orderly promote the project construction with high standards and strict requirements. When the project is up and running, it will further enhance the company’s influence in Inner Mongolia and create a new growth driver for its sustainable and sound development.
