On October 21, 2023, Liu Guoxi, party secretary and chairman of the Trade Union of Beijing Energy International, met Song Hongpeng, secretary of Xintai Municipal Committee of Tai’an City, Shandong Province in Beijing. The two sides exchanged on in-depth cooperation on clean energy, energy storage and computing power. 

At the meeting, Liu Guoxi welcomed Song Hongpeng and his delegation and introduced the business development and future planning of Beijing Energy International. He said that Beijing Energy International, as a pilot SOE for mixed-ownership reform in the capital city, enjoys a flexible and efficient mechanism and embraces a period of high-quality and rapid development. The company attaches great importance to the new energy market in Shandong, and will continue to capitalize on its specialized advantages, actively expand and deepen cooperation on energy storage, computing power and gas-fired power generation in the context of local development needs and energy structure, so as to help upgrade local new energy industrial structure and deliver social and economic benefits. 

Song Hongpeng introduced the city’s new energy resources and local development planning. He said that the cooperation between Xintai City and the company in the field of new energy has achieved remarkable results. He hoped that the two sides would maintain a long-term friendly strategic partnership, carry out in-depth cooperation on energy storage, computing power and gas-fired power generation, and accelerate the implementation of the cooperation results. The city will provide all-round policy support and service guarantee, promote the cooperation between government and enterprise, complement each other’s advantages for common development, and contribute to the country’s green and low-carbon development.
