BJ ENERGY INTL Successfully Issued the First Tranche of Mid-Term Notes

On July 12, United Photovoltaics (Changzhou) Investment Company, a subsidiary of Beijing Energy International, successfully issued its first tranche of mid-term notes in the interbank market. The total issuance amount was 1 billion yuan, comprising two varieties: a 3+2 year term and a 5-year term. The issuance interest rate for the 3+2 year term was 2.35%, setting a record low for enterprises in Beijing as well as for the power industry of the same rating and term. The 5-year term had an issuance interest rate of 3%. This successful issuance marks an important step for the company in the issuance of long-term bonds. The lead underwriter for the project was Everbright Securities, with Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Shanghai Pudong Development Bank, and Zhongtai Securities as joint underwriters.



This successful issuance is one of Beijing Energy International’s important measures to expand its direct financing channels at multiple levels, fully demonstrating the capital market’s high recognition of the company.
