Beijing Energy International’s first independently developed new energy project in Chongqing—the 150MW agro-PV complementary project in Fenhe, Fengjie County—is planned to include a 150MW installed capacity and a 220kV step-up substation. The project adopts a combined agro– and forestry–photovoltaic model, utilizing local land conditions to grow forage grass, oil-tea camellia, and traditional medicinal herbs, in alignment with sustainable and eco-friendly farming practices. After commissioning, the project is expected to generate about 180 GWh of clean electricity annually, equivalent to saving 57,000 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 157,000 tons. It will significantly contribute to Chongqing’s energy transition and high-quality economic development.
